Administrators/Front Office Staff

Principal: Dr. Denisha Johnson 

I am very excited to serve Renner students and families as the building principal!   Prior to this experience, I worked as the assistant principal. I taught 2nd and 3rd grade in previous districts. 

My degrees include a Bachelor's in English from the University of Kansas, Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Stephens College, and I received both an Educational Specialist and Doctorate in Administration from William Woods.

 

 

Assistant Principal: Dominic Martinez

I'm so excited to serve as Assistant Principal at Renner Elementary School.  I worked eight years with USD #453 in Leavenworth, Kan., most recently as an assistant principal at Richard Warren Intermediate School. I also served as a career exploration teacher at Richard Warren and coached cross country and track and field at Richard Warren and Leavenworth High School. I began my career in education as a physical education teacher at Earl Lawson Elementary School.

My degrees include a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree and Education Specialist all from Pittsburg State University. 

 

Executive Admin. Assistant: Melissa Wiehe

I have worked at Renner for many years and love being a Renner Roadrunner.

When not at school I like to hang with my two children and watch the Kansas City Chiefs!

When not at school I like to hang with my husband Brandon and two beautiful daughters Fiona and Chesney. I'm originally from Northern Iowa but have lived in Kansas City for the last 7 years and we now call KC home!
