Administrators/Front Office Staff

Principal: Dr. Denisha Johnson 

I am very excited to serve Renner students and families as the building principal!   Prior to this experience, I worked as the assistant principal. I taught 2nd and 3rd grade in previous districts. 

My degrees include a Bachelor's in English from the University of Kansas, Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Stephens College, and I received both an Educational Specialist and Doctorate in Administration from William Woods.

 

 

Assistant Principal: Justin Orscheln

I am very excited to serve Renner students and families as the assistant principal! This is my fifth year as an assistant principal.  Prior to this experience, I worked as an elementary music teacher for eleven years.   

My degrees include a Bachelor’s in music education from the Missouri Baptist University, Master's in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University, and my Educational Specialist in Superintendency from Northwest Missouri State University .

 

Executive Admin. Assistant: Melissa Wiehe

I just started my 20th year at Renner and love being a Roadrunnner.

When not at school I like to hang with my two children and watch the Kansas City Chiefs!

Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband Brandon, our two daughters Fiona and Chesney, and our dog, Papa. While I am originally from Northern Iowa, my family has lived in Kansas City for the past 10 years, and we love calling KC home!
